Mohammed Abdirahman Hussein, former Abaarso School student and current Amherst College freshman, competed in his first Division III New England Regional Championships on November 15, finishing fourth overall and with an inspiring total time of 25:30. Despite putting up such an impressive run at the regional championships, Mohammed was able to beat his own time to finish in 24:34 at the national championships, putting him at 30th place overall and second of all freshmen competitors!
